This dynamic role involves selling products and services for truck repairs ensuring customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries and fulfilling requests. As a key player in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the parts department youll pull parts for customers handle returns and contribute to merchandise displays. If youre passionate about customer interactions parts sales and contributing to an efficient and customer-centric environment we invite you to apply for this exciting Counter Person Duties:Sells products for the repair of trucks according to customers needsSells services for the repair of trucks to meet customer needsMaintains customer goodwill by greeting and acknowledging all customersAnswers customer inquiriesFulfills customer requestsSells additional parts and services by recognizing opportunities to up-sellFollows prescribed cash credit and check processing procedures of the dealershipPulls parts for customersReceives returns from customersAssists in keeping parts department clean and orderlyRecords all sales and/or customer transactionsAssists Parts Manager with merchandise displaysMaintains the retail sale floor and displays to meet or exceed the dealerships standards and customer satisfactionPerforms routine housekeeping tasks that maintain and enhance the cleanliness of products and the retail sales areaUses dealership equipment and resources safely and proficientlyCustomer Service Duties:Greets customers immediately in a courteous mannerAssists in resolving customer complaints and concerns and ensures the problem is corrected to the customer and dealerships satisfactionTreats customers fairly and honestly and demonstrates companys commitment to superior customer service and ethical business practicesSkills & Qualifications:High school diploma or the equivalentThree years or more experience with heavy-duty trucks and partsOEM Dealer experienceDemonstrated knowledge of truck engines transmissions and rear axlesKnowledge of after-market vendorsExcellent customer service skillsStrong communication skillsKnowledge of supplies equipment and mechanical partsProficient in relevant computer applicationsRequired language proficiency to effectively communicate with customersExperience in customer service environment preferredData Entry and strong typing skills preferredAbility to effectively listenAbility to interpret customer needsSelf-motivatedPhysical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
