Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently pick up and deliver parts equipment and paperwork to customers satellite stores wholesale accounts and vendors.
• Daily contact will be with all departments to see what is needed and coordinate pick-ups and deliveries.
• You will verify invoices to purchase orders with each pickup. Responsible for ensuring all paperwork is completed at the time of delivery.
• The parts delivery driver organizes deliveries to maximize efficiency and maintains a schedule at the store that shows pick-up and delivery times.
• Responsible for basic maintenance of the delivery vehicle including keeping the gas tank full checking oil keeping it clean and making sure required inspections and service are completed.
• At times will work inside to stock and pull parts and assist at the parts counter.

Qualifications

• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
• Pass a background check and drug screen
• Previous delivery driving experience is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of the local area and efficient routes.
• Ability to lift and carry parts sometimes weighing up to 50 lbs. or more.
• Good time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
