Become a part of our team and immerse yourself in a company that fosters a Great Place to Work culture!What You will Do:The Parts DepartmentBack Counter Personperforms a variety of customer service duties primarily focusing on and relating to the delivery of parts software and accessories to the companys service technicians and service department that contribute to the efficient safe and profitable operation of the dealership parts department. The Back Counter Person is in part responsible for providing technicians with the parts they need and providing excellent customer service while assisting the parts department as a wholeSchedule: Monday - Thursday 10:30am - 7:00pm & Sunday 7:00am - 3:30pmJob Duties:Assists technicians with locating ordering & providing parts from multiple sources needed to perform repairsAssists the Service Department with any parts neededMaintains customer goodwill by interacting positively with internal and external customersFulfills customer requestsProvides price availability and quotations for customersPlaces orders for customers according to customer specificationsFollows prescribed cash credit and check processing procedures of the dealershipPulls parts for techniciansUpdates emails to the Service Department as neededAccepts and documents warranty parts from techniciansCalls multiple vendors to procure parts as neededProcesses and documents cores for returnsProcesses new returned parts as requiredAssists in keeping parts department clean and orderlyAccurately records all sales and/or transactionsPerforms routine housekeeping tasks to maintain area cleanUses dealership equipment and resources safely and proficientlyContributes to team effort by accomplishing tasksCustomer Service Duties:Communicates with customers regarding parts issuesAssists in resolving customer complaints and concerns and ensures the problem is corrected to the customer and dealerships satisfactionTreats customers fairly and honestly and demonstrates the companys commitment to superior customer service and ethical business practiceRequired Skills and Qualifications:High school diploma or the equivalentExcellent customer service skillsStrong communication skillsKnowledge of supplies equipment and mechanical partsProficient in relevant computer applicationsExperience in a customer service environment preferredData Entry and strong typing skills preferredAbility to effectively listenAbility to interpret customer needsPhysical Requirements:Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at timesMust be able to pass post-offer drug test physical and background checkCompensation:$22-$28/hour (depending on experience and qualifications)Plus CommissionFull-time positionBenefits Velocity Vehicle Group Offers:Fantastic Culture401k matchHealth Dental & Vision Insurance HSA & FSAEmployer paid Life InsurancePaid Vacation DaysSick LeaveCompany perks such as employee discounts company events and training programsExcellent Training and Career Advancement OpportunitiesVelocity Vehicle Group is an equal opportunity employer.
