JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Penn State Abington is seeking applicants for part-time job of Administrative support in our Testing Center.

Job Duties
  • Contacting instructors for exams.
  • Scheduling students for exams.
  • Overseeing the administration of exams.
  • Overseeing academic integrity when students are taking an exam.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Good organizational skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook
  • Understanding of academic integrity

Schedule:
  • Monday through Thursday from 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Testing Center is open from late August until mid May. Closed in the summer.
  • May be asked to work additional hours to fill in for other workers.

Compensation: The starting rate for this job is $18 per hour.

Due to academic integrity standards this role is not open to students.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988 Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security such as those concerning alcohol and drug use crime prevention the reporting of crimes sexual assault and other matters.
