Position Title: Part-Time Spanish Teacher (Contract)
Reports To:Dean of Instruction
Contract Term:September 2026 May 2027 (School Year 2026-2027)
Compensation: $10000 total contract paid in equal monthly installments over the contract term. The contract is based on an equivalent daily rate of $92.58 (108 days)for services rendered. This is a 1099 independent contractor position and does not include employee benefits.

Unparalleled Preparatory Academy (UPA) is a tuition-free public charter school serving grades 6-8 with a mission to accelerate students toward college career and life success through career immersion design thinking and leadership development. We seek educators who are innovative relationship-driven and passionate about helping students discover and develop their talents.

UPA is seeking an energetic and passionate Part-TimeSpanish Teacher (Contractor) to build a strong foundation for our middle school music program. This individual will teach two sections of 8th GradeSpanish(120 minutes daily) while developing beginningspanish skills.

• Teach two sections of 8th Grade Spanish2-3 times a week.

• Plan and deliver engaging standards-aligned lessons.

• Student Engagement

• Build meaningful relationships with students.

• Encourage student creativity confidence and collaboration.

• Communicate student progress with families as needed.

• Attend required staff meetings professional development and school events related to assigned responsibilities.

• Maintain accurate attendance and grade records.

• Collaborate with teachers and school leadership.

Required:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience in Education Spanish or a related field.

• Ability to teach beginning spanish.

• Strong classroom management skills.

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Preferred:

Experience teachingspanish to middle school-aged students.

Experience working in charter schools or Title I schools.

The contractor will provide services that include:

• Teaching two sections of 8th Grade Spanish

• Reasonable planning and preparation necessary to fulfill contractual responsibilities

• Total Contract Value: $10000

• Paid in equal monthly installments over the duration of the contract.

• This is a 1099 independent contractor agreement. The contractor is responsible for all applicable federal state and local taxes and is not eligible for employee benefits retirement contributions paid leave or other employment-related benefits.
