Part-time Security Officer (QC SO)

The company provides full-service security solutions for homes and businesses including security officer services smart home automation burglar and fire alarms access control security cameras alarm monitoring investigative services and background checks.

Per Mar Security Services is seeking a part-time security officer for assignment at an industrial site in Sterling IL. Schedule will consist of third shift 11:00 pm - 7:00 am Wednesday - Saturday. 32 hours a week at $16.50 per hour.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

- Monitor premises to prevent theft violence or infractions of rules via CCTV and security rounds.

- Access control of visiting individuals and commercial inbound traffic.

- Thoroughly examine doors windows and gates to ensure proper function and security.

- Report any facility issues.

- Request emergency personnel for high risk situations.

- Other duties as assigned by security supervisor.

Qualifications:

• 18 years of age or older
• Ability to handle physical workload including climbing stairs.
• Strong attention to detail
• Must be willing to participate in the Companys pre-employment screening process including drug screen motor vehicle report and background investigation.
• A basic knowledge of computers.
• Driving a company vehicle is required. Must have a valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record.
• A current or former PERC card holder preferred but not required
