Location: Billerica MA

Schedule: Friday & Saturday 10pm-6am

Pay Rate: $21.77 hourly

Securitas Security Services USA Inc. is seeking a dependable and professional Part-Time Security Officer to join our team in Billerica MA. The ideal candidate is observant customer-service oriented and committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees visitors and clients.

As a Security Officer you will play an important role in protecting people and property while providing professional security services and responding to situations as they arise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to help prevent unauthorized access security breaches and suspicious activity.
• Greet and assist employees visitors and contractors in a professional and courteous manner.
• Control access to the facility by verifying identification checking credentials and maintaining visitor logs as required.
• Monitor security cameras alarms and other security systems.
• Conduct routine patrols and inspections of the property.
• Respond to incidents emergencies and security-related concerns in accordance with established procedures.
• Prepare accurate incident reports daily activity logs and other required documentation.
• Enforce site-specific policies procedures and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with clients visitors employees and fellow security team members.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demonstrate sound judgment while on duty.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to remain alert attentive and professional throughout the shift.
• Ability to follow written procedures and verbal instructions.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Ability to pass all required background checks and pre-employment screenings as applicable.
• Previous security military law enforcement or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
