Position Type: Part-Time (Average 2025 hours/week)
Pay Range: $15$18/hour
Are you energetic reliable and passionate about working with kids Snapology of Lancaster is looking for a Part-Time Program Facilitator to lead engaging hands-on programs that inspire children to build create collaborate and solve problems.
This is a great opportunity for college students education majors substitute teachers paraprofessionals homeschool parents retirees or anyone looking for meaningful part-time work with a consistent schedule and opportunities for additional hours throughout the year.

Schedule
The regular schedule includes:
- Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday evenings approximately 4:008:00 PM
- Saturdays typically every other Saturday
Additional hours may be available for daytime field trips homeschool programs camps birthday parties and special events. Daytime availability is helpful but not required.
Weekly hours vary depending on scheduled programming enrollment and the employees availability for additional shifts.
Lead Engaging Programs
Teach fun hands-on enrichment programs using Snapologys provided curriculum LEGO Bricks robotics and other interactive learning tools. No lesson planning requiredwe provide the curriculum training and materials.
Inspire Young Builders
Create a positive encouraging environment where children build confidence creativity collaboration and problem-solving skills through hands-on experiences.
Facilitate Memorable Experiences
Lead programs at the Snapology Discovery Center local schools libraries and community partner locations adapting activities for children ages 414.
Represent Snapology
Build positive relationships with children families schools and community partners while maintaining a safe organized and welcoming learning environment.
Prepare & Wrap Up
Set up materials before each program and clean up afterward to ensure every learning space is ready for the next group.
What Were Looking For
Teaching certification is not required. Applicants should have experience leading and managing groups of 10 or more children in a classroom camp childcare youth program or similar setting.
- Friendly outgoing personality with excellent communication skills
- Confident group-leadership and behavior-management skills
- Comfortable leading activities independently after completing training
- Availability on Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday evenings
- Availability for regular Saturday programming
- Reliable transportation to the Snapology Discovery Center and local partner locations
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds
- Ability to obtain and maintain all required clearances including Pennsylvania State Police Pennsylvania Child Abuse and FBI federal background clearances
- Current Adult and Pediatric CPR AED and First Aid certificationor willingness to obtain the required certification after hire
- Dependable organized energetic and enthusiastic
- Consistent evening schedule with opportunities for additional daytime and seasonal hours
- Opportunities for additional hours through field trips camps school programs and special events
- Paid training and ongoing coaching
- Fun supportive team-oriented environment
- Snapology shirt provided with casual dress (jeans or khakis)
- Valuable experience in education child development and youth programming
