Part Time Nurse Practitioner Internal Med

Johns Hopkins Community Physicians (JHCP) is looking for a Part-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Lifestyle Medicine clinic. Johns Hopkins Community Physicians serves Maryland Virginia and Washington DC with over 40 locations.

Put your passion to care towards our role as a Hopkins Lifestyle Medicine Provider where youll help patients address the root causes of chronic disease through the six pillars of lifestyle medicine: nutrition physical activity stress management restorative sleep connectedness and avoidance of risky substances. Youll use motivational interviewing and SMART goal setting to support lasting behavior change and prescribe medication for weight management includingGLP-1s when appropriate. Youll work closely with registered dietitians medical assistants and our primary care and specialty colleagues who will rely on you to support their patients with chronic disease and weight management needs.

Requirements:

• CRNP or Physician Assistant License in the State of Maryland Virginia and/or Washington DC required
• CPR Certification required
• Certification in Lifestyle Medicine and/or Obesity Management required
• 3 years experience in primary care chronic disease management or weight management preferred
