Were hiring a detail-oriented Part-Time Medical Biller (Medicaid) to join our growing team at Cooperative Home youre looking for a part-time opportunity in healthcare enjoy working with numbers and details and want to be part of a supportive team this could be a great fit for you.
We are currently hiring a Part-Time Medical Biller (Medicaid) for $20$22 per hour.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must reside in or within commuting distance of the Greater St. Louis Missouri area.
- Knowledge of medical billing insurance claims payment posting EOBs denials and payer requirements preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to identify discrepancies and ensure information is accurate and complete
- Ability to work independently while also being part of a team
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient and company information
- Comfortable using computers and Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Prepare and submit healthcare claims accurately and on time
- Process Medicaid billing and meet payer requirements
- Review claims and follow up on denied or unpaid claims
- Post payments and resolve billing discrepancies
- Respond to billing questions from patients and insurance companies
- Maintain accurate billing records and documentation
- Assist with reports data entry and account reconciliation
- Identify billing errors and provide administrative support as needed
