Meat WrapperPart Time Hourly Estimated pay range $18-19.50 depending on qualifications and experienceMust be at least 18 years and olderPosition Description:Meat Wrapper prepares freshly cut and trimmed meat merchandise for sale by wrapping weighing and pricing. Team members work safely and adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards in each area of the department to provide customers with the highest quality day-to-day: Prepare meat merchandise cut by Meat Cutters for sales floor by wrapping weighing and pricing all productsMaintain fill and rotate products in the meat cases for quality freshness and proper datesCommunicate with Meat Cutters what merchandise is needed for meat casesCheck prices based on day of the week for 4 day and weekly ads itemsPull all merchandise from meat cases each night for storage in meat coolerProviding excellent customer service by greeting customers and responding to questionsAdhere to all health sanitation and safety regulationsAssist in other duties as assignedQualifications:18 years of age or olderEntry level position; no experience requiredSafely use/operate meat wrapperGreat customer serviceGood oral communication skillsWhat you bring to the team:Great work ethicProblem solverSelf-motivatorFlexibleHonestWorking Conditions:The temperature in the department is colder than room temperature due to the products being highly perishableThe position requires frequent walking standing lifting pushing and pulling with a maximum of 35-40 lbs. and occasionally climbing and reachingSatisfy:Greet customers with a friendly smile and positive attitude ensuring that each customer feels welcome and :Collaborate with team members to ensure the smooth operation of the store offering assistance and support where :Improve and maintain the efficiency of the store in order to reach success.
