Qualifications:

- Responsible for greeting all bank customers as they enter the branch in a courteous and professional manner.
- Operate a teller window to process a variety of transactions within established guidelines such as processing individual and commercial deposits savings and checking transactions cash advances loan payments credit card payments and other transactions.
- Enter customers transactions into computer to record transactions and issues computer generated receipts.
- Assist customers with questions regarding their accounts; Place holds on accounts as appropriate.
- Order daily supply of cash and count incoming cash; Balance currency coin and checks in cash drawer and compare totaled amounts with data displayed on computer screen.
- Participate in maintaining good customer relations by giving courteous efficient service and developing new business by acquainting non-customers with bank services and presenting current customers with additional services; Identify and respond to these cross-sale opportunities by referring customers to the appropriate bank personnel.
- Record customer interactions in the banks CRM platform.

Education and/or Experience
High school degree or equivalent required; Six months to one-year related experience and/or training required in area of cash handling or customer service.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Requires ability to communicate effectively and clearly (both written and verbally): Ability to read write and comprehend simple instructions short correspondence and memos.
Mathematical Skills
Requires ability to perform basic mathematical calculations: add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Requires ability to use good judgment in making routine and complex decisions; Must have excellent customer service skills with the ability to sell products and Services: Ability to accurately handle large sums of cash; Must be goal oriented and able to achieve individual goals as well as work as a team player to achieve departmental and/or Bank goals; Flexibility is necessary with the ability to adapt in an ever-changing environment.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully an individual must be proficient in all Microsoft Office programs with an ability to quickly learn other bank related programs

Salary:
- $16.00 hour
- $500 bonus after 6 months of employment at INB
