Part-Time Faculty - Welding Technology (Central)

Teaching Welding Technology related course work.

Applications for part-time faculty positions are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed if openings become available. These positions are not current vacancies. Instructors employed as part-time faculty are not entitled to all the rights privileges and benefits of regular full-time employees. Part-time faculty are hired on an as needed basis and will work for the duration of time specified by the respective course. Part-time teaching assignment may be available for day time evening or weekend classes. Faculty are assigned to teach courses using various delivery methods based on the teaching area and the needs of students and the College which may require a physical presence at the assigned on-site work location.

Required Qualifications:

• Must have an Associates Degree (or higher level degree) or significant industry experience may be considered in lieu of the educational requirement.
• Must have at least three (3) years work experience in Welding Technology.

Preferred:

• Associates degree or higher.
• Certifications from NCCER or AWS a plus.

Salary Grade:AH

Salary is based on the Board-approved salary schedule for the current fiscal year.See Salary Schedule
