Duties And Responsibilities
Prepare course materials and pedagogy to achieve course learning goals and objectives. Employ appropriate pedagogy for the assigned courses. Conduct classes and deliver course material on assigned days and times. Utilize University Learning Management System ( LMS ) to deliver course information to students. Evaluate and grade student work in a timely manner. Maintain availability to students during posted hours to assist students. Respond in a timely manner to departmental and student communications. Meet periodically with supervisors and colleagues for collaboration training and development. Participate in departmental efforts to assess student learning. Respond appropriately to the needs of a diverse population.
Required Qualifications
A masters or Ph.D. degree in psychology or a closely related field from an accredited university is preferred. A commitment to outstanding teaching and delivering an excellent student experience is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous teaching experience at the university level is preferred.
