PART-TIME ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CUSTODIAN
Position Title:Part- Time Custodian
Reports to:Director of Operations and Security
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable hardworking and detail-oriented Part-Time Elementary Custodian to help maintain a clean safe and welcoming learning environment for our students and staff. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a school community.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize classrooms restrooms hallways and common areas.
- Sweep mop vacuum and dust assigned areas
- Empty trash and recycling containers
- Restock restroom supplies
- Set up and take down tables and chairs for school events as needed
- perform routine building security checks and lock doors at the end of the shift
- Report on maintenance or safety concerns to the supervisor
- Assist with seasonal cleaning and other custodial duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous custodial or cleaning experience is helpful but not required
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds and perform physical task including bending standing and walking for extended periods
- must successfully pass required fingerprinting process
