Part-time District Receptionist (TEMPORARY)
Job Summary
SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Executive Director of Human Resources the Temporary District Receptionist will contribute to effective school-public relations with prompt and courteous handling of all inquiries and visitors.

Essential duties and responsibilitiesmayinclude but are not limited to the following:
- Greets all visitors courteouslydeterminestheir needs checks appointments and directs them to the proper person.
- Answers screens incoming telephone calls and responds appropriately to requests for information.
- Orders supplies and materials as needed.
- Update and distribute school directory as needed.
- Manages visitor sign-in/sign-outprocedures issues visitor badges and ensures ID verification per district safety protocols.
- Maintainsaccuratelogs(visitor logs and phone message logs) and files records according to retention/confidentiality requirements.
- Receives sorts and distributes mailand coordinates outgoing mail.
- Assistswith onboarding support tasks(preparing packets checklists forms and directing new hires to next steps).
- Provides basic troubleshooting/assistanceto visitors and staff (directions formslocatingdepartments general FAQs).
- Ensures compliance with privacy requirementswhen handling Personnel/HR information (FERPA/records confidentiality practices as applicable).
- Assistwithverification requests including but not limited employment verification and teaching experience verification forms ensuringtimelyandaccuratecompletion of required documentation.
- Monitor and manage theCrane HR email inbox responding to inquiries and directing requests to theappropriate personnel.
- Performs other related duties as required by supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
- Bilingual language skills (i.e. Spanish)preferred
- Ability to work harmoniously with staff and with the general public required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT
The position requires the individual to meet multiple demands from several people and interact with public and staff.
