Part-time Corporate Trainer Grant Writing

Job Summary
Qualified instructors will work in Workforce and Community Development Division (WCD) to deliver corporate training in grant writing to employees or trainees of business and industry government and community-based partners. Training may be delivered as stand-alone workshops seminars or in series that spans a period of time. Training may be done independently or require collaboration with other WCD Corporate Trainers. Training may be facilitated on campus or at various training sites within the district.
- Deliver outcome-based training sessions.
- Use curriculum provided by WCD. Curriculum may require customization either to meet training needs or develop more current and relevant content in the curriculum library.
- Attend meetings to further develop customized training for corporate and community partners.
- Lead a classroom environment that is respectful of diversity and demonstrates a commitment to inclusion.
- Remain current on developments/trends in the teaching field so that instruction is delivered for a variety of learning styles uses the latest technology and utilizes alternative delivery methods.
- Regularly report on training delivery and curriculum effectiveness via meetings or communications with WCD staff.
- Demonstrate independence flexibility professionalism and effective communication collaboration and rapport with WCD staff other Corporate Trainers and participants receiving corporate training.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Communications Business or related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Two (2) years of grant writing and/or grant management experience.
