ANNOUNCEMENT OF POSITION VACANCY

SUMMARY: Under general supervision the Starbucks Barista is responsible for assisting various tasks in the coffeehouse including customer service food and drink preparation and food safety and sanitation procedures. SOME OF THE THINGS THAT YOU WILL GET TO DO (this is just a small sampling of work variety):

  • Deliver a high level of interactive customer service effectively prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously with a high level of accuracy.
  • Prepare and build food and drink items according to standard recipes procedures and directions.
  • Set up work stations including prep tables service counters etc.
  • Break down clean and sanitize work stations.
  • Serve food to customers while ensuring guest satisfaction and anticipating the customers needs.
  • Replenish food items and ensure product is stocked to appropriate levels.
  • Maintain excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guests customers coworkersetc.
  • Communicate regularly with direct supervisor work status updates and task completions.
  • Adhere to a regular work schedule.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1.5 years of job-related experience previous food service experience required.
  • Valid food safety certification.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to set the example understand policies procedures and guidelines.
  • Ability to work as part of a team build relationships and strong interpersonal skills.
