JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
This position requires you to have received a work-study verify if you have received a work-study award please consult the Financial Aid Award Summary area in your LionPATH account.A Federal Work Study award does not guarantee a job is available.The Edna Bennett Pierce Prevention Research Center (PRC) in the College of Health and Human Development seeks to hire a part-time work study for the 26-27 academic year to assist with administrative duties.
Typical duties include but are not limited to:
- Serve as receptionist as needed for the PRC main office; greet visitors and provide information answer main phone line provide assistance or redirect as appropriate.
- Support and coordinate weekly seminars; serve as lead contact for conference room scheduling and technology support set up equipment for meetings and presentations troubleshoot issues and/or arrange for support order meals and refreshments when needed.
- Sort and distribute mail prepare daily mail slips for outgoing mail receive and send packages.
- Provide assistance to administrative team members in the preparation processing and submission of financial forms (e.g. travel reimbursements purchasing card reconciliations etc.)
The starting hourly rate for this job is $15.00.
Federal Work Study job performance is evaluated either annually or through ongoing mentorship. Students who received a Federal Work Study award have the opportunity to obtain a joband perform related duties eitheron campus orremotely if possibleand at the discretion of the employer.
