Position Details
- Caseload: 1:1 or small group student support
- Schedule: Monday Friday
- Hours: 3040 hours/week
- Dates: August 2026 May 2027
- Location: Onsite in Garfield Heights OH schools
Responsibilities
- Assist students with daily living activities mobility feeding and hygiene needs
- Support students in the classroom and during school activities
- Follow care plans and behavior support strategies as directed by staff or medical teams
- Document services and share observations with the support team
- Promote student safety independence and dignity
- Collaborate with educators therapists and nurses to meet student needs
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- Experience working with children or students with special needs (preferred)
- Ability to follow medical behavioral and personal care protocols
- Dependable patient and compassionate with strong communication and collaboration skills
- Must pass background check and any school-specific onboarding requirements
