POSITION SUMMARY

The Paralegal works directly with the firms attorneys and clients to advance active immigration matters completing immigration forms compiling supporting documentation and drafting initial affidavits. The role seeks Spanish fluency requires at least one year of immigration law experience and serves as a critical link between clients and the legal team.

Classification: Non-Exempt

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bilingual/fluent in Spanish preferred though not required.
• Minimum of 1 year of prior experience in immigration law.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Bachelors degree preferred though not required.
• A paralegal certificate is not required; candidates who hold one will still be considered.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work directly with attorneys and clients on active immigration matters.
• Complete immigration forms and compile accompanying supporting documentation.
• Draft initial affidavits for attorney review.
