About the Role

On behalf of our clienta growing boutique estate planning law firmwe are seeking a dedicated Wills Trusts & Estates Paralegal to join their expanding team.

As a paralegal on their team you will play a central role in this process collaborating closely with attorneys and clients on estate planning probate and trust/estate administration matters.

What Youll Do
  • Document Preparation: Assist attorneys with drafting reviewing and organizing wills trusts powers of attorney and related estate planning instruments.
  • Probate & Administration: Support probate proceedings and trust/estate administration by preparing court filings gathering asset information and organizing supporting records.
  • Client & External Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients beneficiaries financial institutions and third-party professionals to gather details and maintain momentum on active files.
  • Signings & Asset Transfers: Coordinate document execution ceremonies assist with trust funding oversee asset transfers and drive outstanding task items to completion.
  • Matter & Deadline Management: Maintain accurate matter records manage critical deadlines and ensure clients receive proactive timely updates.
  • Process Improvement: Bring your ideas to the table to help refine workflows organize operations and enhance the overall client experience.
What Youll Bring
  • Relevant Background: Prior paralegal experience in estate planning probate or trust and estate administration. (Experience in New Jersey or New York is a plus!)
  • Core Skills: Exceptional writing proofreading organizational and deadline-management abilities.
  • Client Focus: A professional empathetic approach when communicating with clients through sensitive family situations.
  • Technical Aptitude: Comfort with legal technology and a willingness to master new software and administrative systems.
