Description

The Paralegal & EA provides legal and executive administrative support to a senior legal executive. This role combines paralegal responsibilities such as contract support legal research corporate recordkeeping and transaction assistance with executive support including calendar management meeting coordination expense processing and confidential communications.

The ideal candidate is an experienced paralegal who is highly organized detail-oriented proactive and comfortable managing competing priorities while handling privileged and highly confidential information with discretion.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Draft proofread and format contracts legal documents and routine correspondence.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare summaries reports and briefing materials.
  • Maintain corporate records entity documentation compliance calendars and contract databases.
  • Track contract deadlines renewals expirations and other key dates.
  • Assist with due diligence document review transactions and legal projects.
  • Coordinate with outside counsel and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage the senior legal executives calendar meetings communications and priorities.
  • Screen and prioritize calls correspondence and meeting requests.
  • Process invoices expense reports receipts and credit card reconciliations.
  • Maintain confidential and attorney-client privileged information appropriately.
  • Serve as a professional liaison and gatekeeper for the senior legal executive.
Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Paralegal certificate/degree is a plus; equivalent relevant experience preferred.
  • 3 years of professional paralegal experience in a corporate legal department or law firm.
  • Experience supporting a senior executive or legal leader strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of corporate governance contracts legal research and litigation or transaction support.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft or Google productivity tools contract management systems and legal research platforms.
  • Exceptional organization communication proofreading and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Strong judgment discretion confidentiality and ability to manage competing deadlines independently.
  • Professional proactive resourceful and collaborative approach.
