Job Summary
Paraeducator:Full-Time 8 Hours per dayUnder the direction and supervision of the site administrator the Paraeducator provides a variety of support services for teachers and students in special education and general education classroom settings including but not limited to: Special Day classes tutoring clerical preparation of materials and record keeping. Needs of some students including personal hygiene and activities of daily living may be specific and require additional training. Job duties may be performed in settings outside of the traditional school settings.
Paraprofessionals will be required to have a high school diploma or its equivalent andone of the following in order to meet the minimum qualifications for the Paraprofessional position: Possess an Associate of Arts/Science Degree Complete 48 semester units of college education Pass the Paraprofessional ExamDocuments needed:Letter of ApplicationCompleted application formCurrent resumeTwo letters of recommendation Upon offer of employment the following will be required. DOJ/FBI (fingerprints) clearance drug test physical and a TB will be reviewed upon receipt. Excellent medical dental and vision package available.
