Job Summary
OPENING DETAILS- Monday-Friday 6 hours per day (.750 FTE)- Work hours: TBDLOCATION: Luther Middle School SALARY RANGE: 38(New employees to the District will begin at Step 1. Under the direction of an assigned supervisor assist a certificated teacher in reinforcing instruction to individuals or small groups of special education students in a classroom or other learning environment; assist assigned teacher(s) and certificated personnel with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs); monitor and report student progress regarding behavior and performance; assist in the preparation of instructional materials and perform a variety of clerical duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Graduation from high school and one year experience working with school age children in an organized setting.*PLEASE INCLUDE EXPERIENCE RELATED TO THIS POSITION ON YOUR APPLICATION OR RESUME IT IS REQUIRED FOR SCREENING AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:Successful completion of District-administered State-mandated proficiency examination.
