Job Summary
Under general supervision perform a variety of Special Education instructional activities; assist children experiencing special learning needs; administer score and record a variety of assessments; carry out routine clerical and supportive tasks; and perform other related duties as assigned.
This is a part-time position. You will be working 1:1 with a student. High school diploma or equivalent and one of the following:1. Associate of Arts degree or2. Completion of two years of study at an institution of higher education (48 semester units) or Completion of a formal local or state academic assessment Information: Applicants needing to complete the required assessment may contact Human Resources to register for an upcoming test date. Testing is provided by the District at no cost to applicants.
- Letter of Introduction (Cover Letter from Applicant- please address to Debra French)
- Letter(s) of Recommendation (2 letters must be dated within one (1) calendar year of the application submission date and signed by the individual providing the recommendation.)
- Paraprofessional Testing (Paraprofessional Testing (Academic Assessment Test or AA Degree or 48 semester units from an institution of higher education)
