**Classroom Paraeducator and Lunch Supervisor****Schedule:** MondayFriday 9:00 a.m.12:50 p.m. mid-August through early JuneMonte Rio School is a small community-centered TK8 public school nestled among the redwoods in the beautiful Russian River Valley of Sonoma County. Our inclusive school is known for its strong relationships small class sizes and supportive family-like atmosphere where every student is known valued and encouraged to thrive academically socially and Paraeducator works under the supervision of the Superintendent/Principal and in collaboration with classroom teachers to support the academic behavioral social and emotional development of students. This position provides instructional assistance to individuals and small groups reinforces classroom learning and helps maintain a safe positive and inclusive learning assist with implementing classroom activities preparing instructional materials monitoring student progress and supporting classroom management and supervision during instructional and non-instructional times. Responsibilities may include providing direct instructional support administering and scoring assignments and assessments under teacher direction collecting student data supervising students in classrooms playgrounds and lunch areas and participating in staff meetings and professional development activities as of our small size paraeducators at Monte Rio School have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with students and families and make a significant impact on childrens daily experiences and success.
