Under the direct supervision of a site administrator and assigned to certificated staff an Instructional Aide assist inproviding instruction to a diverse range of students or small groups of students; assists the classroom teacher in meetingthe needs of targeted students supervising the classroom and playground activities of students; assists the teacher in thepreparation of instructional material; relieves the teacher of routine clerical and instructional duties; and performs relatedwork as required.
