Under the direction of the classroom teacher and site administration the Instructional Aide assists in the supervision instruction and support of students in classroom and instructional settings. The Instructional Aide works with individual students and small groups to reinforce instructional concepts support classroom activities and assist students who may have academic behavioral physical or educational position may provide support in specialized instructional programs and requires the ability to exercise independent judgment initiative and effective communication skills while assisting with the implementation of instructional activities and behavior support strategies. The Instructional Aide helps maintain a positive safe and productive learning environment that supports student success and educational goals. This is a 7.5 hrs p/day; Monday - Friday; School Day Only (195 days per year) Position
