Job Summary

Paper Bag Line Machine Technician

Where: Florence KY

Pay: $21.20/hour starting

Shifts: 7am7pm or 7pm7am

Join a production team that turns quality paper into functional printed bags. Youll work closely with a Production Supervisor and Shift Leads to set up run and optimize the bag converting line to exact specifications.

Key outcomes
  • Convert paper to spec-compliant bags by setting up and operating converting equipment.
  • Interpret and verify line orders/dockets; confirm printing requirements by specification.
  • Load paper; set dimensions and format during line setup.
  • Mount cylinders; adjust pressure and web tension; balance ink distribution for high-quality print.
  • Troubleshoot stoppages and breakdowns to restore throughput.
  • Execute and document in-process quality checks.
  • Uphold food safety and GMPs at every step.
  • Complete daily production paperwork accurately and on time.
  • Maintain a clean safe and orderly work area.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 12-hour rotating day/night availability; overtime when required.
  • Ability to complete training courses assigned by management.
  • Detail orientation mechanical problem-solving and safety mindset.
