The Opportunity
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is seeking a skilled Painter to support Facilities Management at the Prescott Campus. This position plays an important role in maintaining the appearance condition and overall presentation of campus buildings and facilities. The Painter will perform painting surface preparation repairs and related maintenance activities across residential spaces offices common areas and recreational facilities.

Generous Time Off:Enjoy up to 18 days of paid leave in your first year including 3 days granted upon hire and 15 days accrued throughout the year. Youll also receive 9 paid holidays including the day after Thanksgiving and the week between Christmas Eve and New Years Day.

Compensation
The hourly range for this role isup to$20.00. The final offer will be based on the candidates skills qualifications and experience as well as applicable state regulations internal equity and business needs and may fall outside of the stated range.
Required
High school-level ability in grammar spelling basic composition and mathematics.
One to three years of related work experience.
Experience in painting mechanical or maintenance work.
Proven experience as a painter preferably in a residential or campus setting.
Knowledge of painting techniques materials and tools.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Effective time management and organizational skills.
Knowledge of safety protocols and practices.
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting climbing ladders and working in various weather conditions.
