Painter | Omni Corpus Christi Hotel

Overview:To ensure a safe efficient well-maintained hotel environment while providing maintenance services to guests in a courteous professional and engaging manner. Responsibilities:Maintain all public areas guest rooms meeting rooms and corridors on an on-going basis including paint wallpaper and plastering. Performs preventive maintenance of guest rooms following preventive maintenance guidelines for Omni CARE correct stock/inventory of paint supplies and materials and communicate when replenishment is guests in locating other areas of the hotel (walk them to destination if possible).Have a thorough understanding of Omnis fire alarm procedures and emergency be familiar with Omnis systems and to all engineers and mechanics as needed with all work areas :Previous experience as a commercial painter required hotel experience preferred. Must be able to brush roll spray and work on different be able to patch float and repair damaged be able to work with stains lacquers varnishes epoxy and be able to apply be willing to work based on business and occupancy be able to work a flexible schedule including nights weekends holidays and be able to interact and communicate with the hotel bend lift carry crawl squat push pull and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance. Stand walk or sit for an extended period or for an entire work work indoors and outdoors including during extreme weather be asked to be part of ride-out crew during severe weather be able to work using ladders scissors and aerial lifts.
