Job Summary
The Painter II is responsible for performing interior and exterior painting corrosion control surface preparation and general maintenance repairs throughout the property. This role maintains painting supplies and equipment conducts routine inspections responds to maintenance needs and ensures all work is completed safely efficiently and to quality standards.

Responsibilities
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Perform interior and exterior painting projects including preparation application and finishing work.
Conduct corrosion control and preventative maintenance on building structures and equipment.
Complete repairs and surface preparation such as drywall stucco concrete restoration and basic carpentry work.
Inspect assigned areas daily and identify troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues.
Order receive stock and distribute painting and maintenance supplies.
Maintain inventory records and complete monthly inventory counts.
Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in safe working condition.
Assist Engineering team members with priority-one and emergency maintenance situations.
Work independently with minimal supervision while meeting project deadlines.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of two (2) years of painting experience in a hotel commercial contractor or related environment.
Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
Experience using hand mechanical and power tools safely and effectively.
Ability to identify and respond appropriately to safety hazards.
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
Trade school vocational training or related technical education.
Specialty certifications or licenses related to painting construction or maintenance.
Experience in hospitality resort or commercial property maintenance environments.
