Job Summary
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ability to prep paint and touch up surfaces
- Remove fixtures and clean surfaces
- Follow safety protocols while working
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of work done
- Maintain a neat and organized work environment
- Preparing surfaces for painting including sanding patching and priming.
- Ensuring that all safety protocols are followed.
- Cleaning up after each job.
- Keeping accurate records of materials used and time spent on each job.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Working with other tradespeople to ensure a successful project.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to pass a drug screen physical exam respirator fit test & background check
- Must be able to read assembly blueprints in English format
- Must be willing and able to work overtime and weekends as required
- Ability to solve practical problems and work with limited standardization
- Working knowledge of shop safety practices
- Understanding of quality assurance concepts typically acquired through in-house training
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
- Adaptability and willingness to be cross trained
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
- Comfortable working in a factory environment with temperature variations
- Physically capable of standing walking bending stooping pushing/pulling and repetitive movements for up to 8 hours per day
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
