What you will have an opportunity to do:

BASIC FUNCTION: The Painter & Finishes Tech will be to repair walls ceilings and other surfaces throughout the property both inside and out. The tasks for this position will also include performing various work orders for preventive maintenance on property.

• Status: Full Time.

• Availability: 3rd Shift

• Pay Rate: $21.50 per hour $1 per hour overnight differential

• Location: Benchmark Hospitality at Deloitte University Hotel & Training Center

• Performs finishes repairs and touch ups to various surfaces throughout the hotel and meeting space.

• Performs preventative maintenance and maintains logs in an organized manner.

• Identifies problems initiates work orders accomplish assigned work orders and completes all necessary repairs relating to their expertise.

• Responsible for correct use of building systems such as Building Management System and Life Safety Systems. (training provided).

• Maintain a safe clean and efficient workspace. Responsible for maintaining inventory of tools in use.

• Work in a safe manner including proper use of PPE and following safety protocols.

• Responsible for correct use of maintenance request system. Training provided.

• Assist with maintenance requests for other trades as needed.

What are we looking for

• Interior painting experience required. Able to work independently on paint jobs.

• Must be able to properly patch and paint walls ceilings doors trim etc.

• The ability to repair vinyl faux tile surfaces preferred.

• Ability to use tools associated with the trade such as brushes rollers sprayers etc.

• Texas Drivers License with good driving record preferred.

Compensation:

$21.50 $1 per hour overnight differential
