Job Responsibilities:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical Electrical Industrial or related field).
- Minimum of 3 years of technical maintenance experience in manufacturing.
- At least 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
- Preferred: 5 years of engineering experience with specific experience in facilities and equipment procurement or maintenance.
- Lead and develop the paint maintenance team fostering a culture of safety ownership and continuous improvement.
- Schedule and coordinate work across maintenance groups to ensure balanced workload and project completion.
- Perform performance reviews set goals and facilitate ongoing training for maintenance staff.
- Oversee the maintenance repair and troubleshooting of all paint equipment including robots spray booths conveyors and related systems.
- Develop and implement preventive predictive and corrective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Monitor equipment performance data to identify trends and implement improvements.
- Support facilities projects including building additions equipment upgrades and renovations ensuring projects meet safety quality and operational standards.
- Determine project requirements for equipment upgrades facility improvements and new installations.
- Prepare specifications evaluate vendor proposals and recommend contractors or suppliers.
- Lead or assist in vendor/contractor selection oversee installation and ensure project completion within scope schedule and budget.
- Lead or support installation upgrade and capital projects related to paint equipment and plant facilities.
- Manage work order processes using computerized maintenance management systems (e.g. Maximo).
- Develop long-term maintenance plans including scheduling of PMs and major repairs.
- Lead root cause analysis and participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability and facilities.
