Job Summary
Title: Packer 2nd shift
We are seeking an individual for our Packer Position. The successful candidate will be a hardworking detail oriented and a team player who is coachable and can demonstrate great attendance.
Responsibilities:
Accurately pack customer orders to specification by due date and dispatch report.
Verify product is correct to shop orders.
Follow special packaging techniques.
Operate all counting and electronic equipment including weight scales bar code readers computer terminals and other electronic devices.
Accurately clock into and out operations and log quantities as work is performed.
Perform Foreign Object Debris/Damage (FOD) inspection.
Comply with all safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized workplace.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Must have a good command of the English language both written and oral.
Ability to follow documented procedures standards and processes.
Comply with all safety policies and procedures.
Basic computer proficiency.
Able to use a caliper and micrometer to make basic measurements to differentiate different parts.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse or shipping / receiving environment.
Education:
High School or equivalent (preferred).
