Job Summary
Responsible for packing / repacking products. Measures weighs and counts products and material; assembles lines and pads cartons crates and containers using hand tools; cleans containers materials supplies or work area using cleaning solutions and hand tools; examines and inspect containers materials and products to ensure that packing specifications are met; loads products into package processing equipment marks and labels containers container tags or products using marking tools; obtains moves and sorts products materials containers and orders using hand tools; places and/or pours products or materials into containers using hand tools and equipment; records product packaging and order information on specified forms and records; removes completed or defective products or materials; seals containers or materials using glues fasteners nails and hand tools.
Work in a fast-paced environment preparing meat products to feed lines and/or prepare for the next stage of processing.
Effectively utilize tools processes and materials to process and package meat products within planned schedules.
Follow all Food Safety requirements and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
Perform visual inspection of meat products to meet certain specifications.
Meet company standards and customer specifications.
Assist in cleanliness of general work area.
Must be able to work continually in a refrigerated environment 35F- 45F.
Must be able to work for periods of time in a freezer environment -10F to 10F with company provided apparel. May require overtime with or without notice. Finish time is when work is completed.
Work in a fast-paced environment preparing meat products to feed lines and/or prepare for the next stage of processing.
Effectively utilize tools processes and materials to process and package meat products within planned schedules.
Follow all Food Safety requirements and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
Packaging. Marination. Further processing and facility sanitation.
HS Diploma/GED required
6 months of Warehouse experience
