Hospitalist Advanced Practitioner (Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant)
Ellis Medicine is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Hospital Medicine team at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady New York.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Advanced Practitioner to become part of a well-established and collaborative Hospital Medicine program. The ideal candidate will be a confident experienced clinician with strong multitasking and communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced inpatient setting and enjoys working closely with physicians nurses and interdisciplinary team members.
- Part-time Hospital Medicine position
- Day shift schedule
- Weekend Track available:
- Friday Saturday Sunday; or
- Saturday Sunday Monday
- 12-hour shifts
- Collaborative and supportive Hospital Medicine team

- Provide comprehensive inpatient medical care to hospitalized patients
- Perform patient assessments develop treatment plans and manage ongoing care
- Collaborate with supervising physicians and healthcare team members
- Participate in care transitions and discharge planning
- Communicate effectively with patients families and consulting services
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Demonstrate leadership clinical judgment and independent decision-making within scope of practice
- Current New York State Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
- DEA registration required
- Board Certification required
- Minimum of 12 years of NP or PA experience required
- Strong clinical communication and teamwork skills
- Prior Hospital Medicine experience preferred
- Competitive salary range: $136203-$160720based on experience

The posted salary range reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity incentives quality bonuses extra shift incentives or other compensation opportunities that may be available.
