Job SummaryThe Medical/Laboratory Gas Pipeline Equipment Outside Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales of medical gas pipeline systems sourcing equipment and related accessories to healthcare facilities contractors and engineering firms. This role focuses on developing relationships managing the full sales cycle and ensuring compliance with healthcare codes and standards while achieving revenue and growth targetsKey ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute sales strategies for medical and laboratory gas pipeline equipment including outlets manifolds alarms zone valve boxes and source equipmentIdentify and pursue new business opportunities within hospitals clinics surgery centers laboratories colleges universities and other healthcare facilitiesBuild and maintain strong relationships with contractors distributors engineers architects and facility managersManage the full sales cycle from lead generation and specification through quotation order placement and post-sale supportWork closely with project managers engineering teams and operations to ensure accurate specifications and successful project executionProvide technical knowledge and consultative support to customersMaintain detailed opportunity tracking forecasting and reporting through CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce)Stay current on NFPA 99 NFPA55 HTM CSA and other applicable medical gas codes and standardsRepresent the company at industry events trade shows and customer meetingsMeet or exceed assigned sales targets and profitability goalsQualificationsBachelors degree in business Engineering Healthcare or a related field (or equivalent experience)3-7 years of sales experience preferably in medical gas systems healthcare construction or industrial equipmentStrong understanding of medical/laboratory gas pipeline systems and healthcare facility environmentsProven ability to manage long-cycle project-based salesExcellent communication negotiation and presentation skillsAbility to read construction drawings and specifications (preferred)Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft OfficeWillingness to travel within assigned territorySkill and CompetenciesConsultative selling approachTechnical aptitude and problem-solving skillsRelationship building and account managementTime management and territory planningAttention to detail and regulatory awarenessCompensation and BenefitsCompetitive base salary plus commission/bonus structureCar allowanceHealth dental and vision insuranceRetirement plan with company matchPaid time off and holidays
