Position: Hand Therapist or Certified Hand Therapist (CHT)
Setting: Outpatient Orthopedics
Location: HealthWorks in Morgantown WV
Schedule: Per Diem / PRN / As Needed
Incentives: In-person and online CEU Courses
HealthWorks is seeking a Per Diem Occupational Therapist to join our growing hand therapy team in Morgantown West Virginia. This position offers flexible weekday coverage including occasional evening hours until 7:00 p.m.
The primary caseload consists of upper extremity and hand conditions including tendon injuries sprains strains post-operative fractures and other orthopedic diagnoses. We are looking for a clinician with strong hand therapy skills including experiencefabricatingcustom splints.
You will work alongside experienced hand therapists including Certified Hand Therapists (CHTs) in a collaborative environment focused on exceptional patient outcomes and clinical growth.
Qualifications
- Occupational Therapist (OT) license or eligibility in West Virginia
- Minimum of one year of outpatient experience
- Experience in hand therapy and custom splinting strongly preferred
- Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) is preferred but not required
- New graduates with Level II fieldwork experience in hand therapy are encouraged to apply

Schedule:Weekday as-needed coverage between 8 AM-7 PM.

- Responsible for the evaluation plan of care treatment re-evaluation discharge and appropriate communications of high quality hand therapy services to patients and customers.
- Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment programs.
- Maintain positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.
- Stay current and up to date with Occupational Therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB clinician expertise patient perception).
- Graduate of an accredited school for occupational or physical therapy
- Hold specialty certification or licensure in hand therapy
- National registration and state licensure or registration required
- Previousdemonstrated marketing experience
- Solid experience in application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedic
- CPR certification
- Valid state drivers license
