SG Energy Solutions a leading global electrical instrumentation & control (I&C) and IT contractor serving GE/FieldCore since 2010 is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented OSM Network Technician to join our team as a remote 1099 contractor. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on critical onsite monitoring projects across the U.S. and internationally with extensive travel involved. Key Responsibilities

- Act as a liaison between the customer GE and SG Energy Solutions to ensure smooth communication and project execution

- Support on-time installation and commissioning of Onsite Monitoring (OSM) systems at various customer sites

- Identify and troubleshoot IT issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure system integrity

- Manage procurement activities including obtaining vendor quotes and tracking project costs

- Complete and maintain detailed Server Reports and other documentation as required

- Assist with hardware troubleshooting system setup and configuration as needed

- Maintain a strong focus on safety protocols and best practices during all onsite activities

- Travel extensively within the U.S. and internationally to customer sites ensuring timely project delivery

Skills and Qualifications

- Recent graduates are encouraged to apply; 1 year of hardware or troubleshooting experience preferred

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients vendors and team members

- Basic understanding of networking server hardware and IT troubleshooting

- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks safely

- Valid drivers license and passport with a clean driving record

- Willingness to travel extensively including internationally with flexibility and adaptability

- Safety-conscious mindset with a professional and friendly demeanor

- Reliable self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote contractor capacity
