Orthotic Technician

• Fabricates including but not limited to lay-ups and lamination molding shaping/forming assembly and static bench alignment.
• Quality checks on materials required procedures and completed work by ensuring accuracy of fit operation durability and cosmetic appearance of prosthetics and orthoses fabricated or repaired.
• Completes assigned work for device delivery per company standards
• Determines the prosthetic needs of the patient by interpreting data and measurements provided by the clinician.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops
• Create effective relationships with staff and customers
• Helps assure internal and external customer responsiveness
• Always adheres to Employee Handbook Infection Control Policies and Procedures applicable protocols and standards including ABC BOC and JCAHO
• Participates in projects as needed
• Completes other duties as assigned
