Job Description:

Are you a skilled veterinary technician who loves both learning and sharing your knowledge and is ready to join a busy team seeing cats and dogs with a wide variety of issues requiring orthopedic intervention We are looking for our next team members in Small Animal Surgery and currently are recruiting for an Orthopedic Surgery position! Nursing staff in our service assist with appointments small procedures under sedation and anesthesia in both sterile and aseptic conditions diagnostic workups including digital radiography and CT and a host of other surgical nursing skills in addition to client communication. Members of our team work closely with boarded veterinary surgeons residents/interns and veterinary students in a fast paced teaching and learning environment. This is a full time position working Monday-Friday.

Expected Salary:

Non-Credentialed $18.00-22.00

Credentialed $20.00-25.00

Required Qualifications

Veterinary Technician I - High school diploma or equivalent and one year relevant experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.

Veterinary Technician II - Credentialed veterinary technician

This is a CARE position offering limited benefits including health insurance and paid time off. When appropriate certifications are achieved promotional opportunities to a level II title may be available. This position will also become eligible for transition into a TEAMS (staff) salary plan.
