Job Summary
Overview/Function: The Order Builders role is to build customer orders in preparation of shipment ensuring they are accurately fulfilled.

Major Responsibilities:
- Utilize assigned tickets accurately pull products from warehousing area and build orders in preparation for shipment.
- Stage and load product in accordance to company standards.
- Move product throughout the warehouse in an efficient effective and safe manner both manually and utilizing material handling equipment (pallet jack forklift etc.).
- Safely utilize material handling equipment.
- Count and inspect product; Help to resolve order discrepancies.
- Minimize damaged products.
- Comply with all safety procedures. Maintain clean and orderly work area to ensure safety.
- Ethical conduct is expected at all times.
- Consistent regular attendance is an essential job function.
- Other duties as required.
Experience & Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED.
- Previous warehouse experience is helpful but not required.
- Ability to read and follow directions and work orders.
- Ability to follow all safety requirements/protocols.
- Good team-player.
- Flexible with the ability to adapt to varying situations.
- Positive helpful attitude.
- Some light computer experience is helpful.
Additional:
- This position is very active and requires the employee to frequently lift and/or move items up to 55 lbs. (Moving equipment and tools will be provided to reduce strains and injury.)
- Standing walking twisting grasping reaching pushing pulling bending kneeling sitting stooping crouching crawling and climbing will be required. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Must have the ability to build orders at a minimum case count of 120 per hour to be successful in this role.
- This role is considered a safety sensitive position.
- To accomplish their tasks the position will work in a warehouse environment in which the temperate is unregulated and dependent upon outdoor temperatures.
- Work hours: Typically 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (1 st shift) or 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 pm (2 nd shift) or until all orders are built for the next days deliveries is complete Monday-Friday. Some occasional weekend or off-shift work may be needed.
- Must have reliable transportation.
