Job Title: Oracle Fusion Middleware/IIS Middleware Administrator

Responsibilities of the Oracle Fusion Middleware/IIS Middleware Administrator
EDC Consulting LLC (EDC) is seeking a Oracle Fusion Middleware/IIS Middleware Administrator to support the U.S. Army in Alexandria VA. The Oracle Fusion Middleware/IIS Middleware Administrator will be responsible for all facets of engineering and administering the mid-tier infrastructure. This includes architecting infrastructure installing and configuring Application and Web Servers Portals and associated software products in Linux and Windows environments. You will also be responsible for maintaining the infrastructure to meet availability and performance standards.

The Oracle Fusion Middleware/IIS Middleware Administrator will:

  • Architect install and configure Application and Web Servers Portals and associated software products in Linux and Windows environments.
  • Maintain the mid-tier infrastructure to meet availability and performance standards.
  • Support WebLogic/Oracle Fusion Middleware OBIEE and IIS activities in UAT and Prod environments.
  • Assist in project releases and troubleshooting reported outages.
  • Automate administration tasks and maintain security standards in the mid-tier.
  • Develop and maintain mid-tier system monitoring and administrative dashboards.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelors degree with 12 years of related work experience or Masters degree with 10 years of related work experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience with WebLogic/Oracle Fusion Middleware OBIEE and IIS.
  • Knowledge of Application Server architecture in a large enterprise environment.
  • Linux and Windows administrations skills.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with external customers.
  • Experience with automating maintenance tasks using tools such as Ansible Puppet or Chef.
  • Experience with Powershell and understanding of PKI.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
  • CompTIA Security Certified
  • Active Security Clearance
