The Oracle EPM IT Architectis responsible for designing implementing and maintaining enterprise-level solutions using Oracles Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) suite such asPBCS (Planning & Budgeting Cloud Service)FCCS (Financial Consolidation & Close Cloud Service) andARCS (Account Reconciliation Cloud Service). The role bridges business and IT ensuring that EPM solutions meet both functional requirements and technical standards.
Primary Responsibilities:
Solution Design & Architecture: Lead the design of Oracle EPM Cloud applications including financial planning budgeting consolidation reconciliation and reporting.
Implementation & Configuration: Oversee end-to-end EPM implementations from requirements gathering to deployment including hands-on development cube design dimension/hierarchy management and automation scripting.
Integration: Ensure seamless integration of Oracle EPM with ERP systems (e.g. Oracle Cloud ERP SAP NetSuite) and other enterprise tools.
Technical Specification Leadership: Review and approve Technical Specifications define integration points and ensure adherence to ERP standards.
Patch & Upgrade Management: Partner with Oracle to plan and test patches/upgrades to avoid production issues.
Configuration & Documentation: Own EPM configuration across modules maintain accurate documentation and support cutover/deployment plans.
Performance & Data Integrity: Prioritize system performance data integrity and scalability in architecture decisions.
User Support & Training: Provide technical support troubleshooting and training to end-users during critical financial processes.
Mentorship: Guide to junior team members in best practices for EPM configuration development and implementation.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
Develop and maintain risk management strategies related to financial operations.
Minimum Requirements:
Typically requires 6-7 years of relevant experience
Critical Skills:
6-7 years in Oracle EPM with 34 years in consulting or senior technical roles
Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of FCCS ARCS PBCS and related modules; experience with EPM Automate Smart View SQL scripting (Groovy) and integration tools.
Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial processes GAAP/IFRS budgeting forecasting consolidation and close workflows.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results aligned with strategic objectives.
Certifications: Oracle EPM certifications are a plus
Additional Skills:
Experience working in healthcare is strongly desired.
Self-starter ambitious and team player.
Environment: Often works in finance/IT teams supporting large-scale financial systems.
Collaboration: Works closely with business analysts developers ERP teams and Oracle support
Education:
Bachelors in Computer Science/Application Information Systems or a related field required.
Masters in Computer Science/Application Information Systems or a related field preferred.
