Job Description
We are looking for an Oracle Database Engineer to support database infrastructure vulnerability remediation patch management and operational activities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Oracle databases Exadata Cloud at Customer (ExaCC) Grid Infrastructure and database security remediation.
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
Strong knowledge of Oracle Database 19c or later ExaCC and Grid Infrastructure.
Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) or Sybase databases.
Hands-on experience with OPatch OPatchAuto and database management consoles.
Understanding of Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters) and Data Guard.
Working knowledge of Linux/Unix administration.
Experience with Oracle ExaCC environments and database automation.
Roles & Responsibilities
Analyze reported vulnerabilities and implement appropriate remediation measures.
Engineer deploy and validate database security patches and vulnerability fixes.
Perform database patching upgrades and maintenance activities.
Support Oracle RAC Data Guard Grid Infrastructure and ExaCC environments.
Automate database administration and remediation tasks to improve operational efficiency.
Perform deployment and operational activities across application platforms.
Validate remediation outcomes and maintain database stability security and availability.
Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to resolve database-related issues.
