Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Design develop and maintain Oracle database applications
Write complex SQL queries stored procedures functions triggers and packages using PL/SQL
Optimize database performance and troubleshoot issues
Create and maintain database schemas tables indexes and views
Perform database tuning backup recovery and security management
Collaborate with developers analysts and business teams
Support data migration and ETL processes
Monitor database health and ensure high availability
Prepare technical documentation and reports
Participate in code reviews and database deployment activities

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of Oracle Database
Expertise in SQL and PL/SQL
Experience with Oracle Forms Reports or Apex (optional)
Understanding of database normalization and indexing
Knowledge of performance tuning and query optimization
Familiarity with backup and recovery concepts
Experience with Unix/Linux environment is a plus
Good problem-solving and analytical skills

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT or related field
2 years of experience as an Oracle Database Developer
Oracle certification is an advantage
