The Assessment Proctor will support the functions of the College of Medicine (COM) Testing Center by administering and proctoring exams assigning students to testing rooms and ensuring security of exams.
About this Role
Test Administration & Proctoring
Provide test directions to large groups of students (130).
Prepare assemble distribute and secure testing materials.
Verify identity and eligibility of testing candidates.
Maintain a quiet orderly and secure testing environment.
Rearrange and reset testing rooms after sessions.
Cover responsibilities in the absence of other staff as needed.
Assist with test-related issues as needed.
Policy Compliance Security & Integrity
Recall and enforce testing policies and procedures.
Maintain confidentiality and protect testing materials.
Detect and address improper conduct or misuse of materials.
Apply UF state and federal testing regulations.
Resolve examinee concerns before during and after testing.
Complete required trainings and certifications.
Customer Service & Communication
Deliver consistent high-quality customer service.
Work effectively in a fast-paced high-volume environment.
Communicate with Testing Center staff regarding facilities and test administration.
Collaborate with other Testing Center personnel.
Maintain a clean and professional appearance appropriate for a public-facing testing environment.
Expected Salary:
$15.00 per hour
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred:
The ideal candidate will possess:
Knowledge of basic desktop computer operations.
Computer proficiency is not required but a plus.
Ability to learn new software.
Experience proctoring or working in a classroom environment.
Drivers license or dependable transportation.
Experience working with adult learners.
Experience working in a helpdesk or tech support environment.
Customer service experience; courteous and professional demeanor.
Taking initiative and paying attention to details.
Strong people skills and communication skills (verbal and written).
